How far in advance should I book?

Waiheke weddings can book out well in advance, particularly over summer and long weekends, so I’d recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your date confirmed. Most brides book anywhere from 6–18 months ahead.

Do you travel across Waiheke?

Yes — I travel across Waiheke Island for wedding bookings. Travel is included between Oneroa and Onetangi, with an additional fee for locations further afield.

How long should we allow for makeup on the wedding morning?

As a guide, I allow around 45 minutes per person, with the bride usually requiring around 60 minutes. I also build in time for setup and final touch-ups so the morning feels relaxed and well paced.

Do you offer trials?

Yes — bridal trials are highly recommended. They’re a great opportunity for us to refine your look, chat through your plans, and make sure everything feels aligned well before the wedding day.

Where are bridal trials held?

Bridal trials are held from my home studio on Waiheke Island in a relaxed, comfortable setting with plenty of natural light.

What should I bring to my trial?

Inspiration images are always helpful, along with a photo of yourself wearing makeup you feel most comfortable in. This gives us a great starting point to create a look that still feels like you.

What’s included in bridal makeup?

All makeup applications include skin preparation, long-wearing professional products, and either strip or individual lashes tailored to your look. Brides also receive a small touch-up pot of lipstick for the day.

How many people can you accommodate?

This depends on timing and the size of your booking. For larger bridal parties, I can arrange an additional artist if needed to ensure the morning runs smoothly.

Do you offer hair styling?

I specialise in makeup only, however I regularly work alongside some wonderful Waiheke hair stylists and am happy to recommend someone suited to your style and wedding plans.

What products do you use?

My kit is made up of professional, high-performing products chosen for their longevity, skin finish, and how beautifully they photograph. I use a mix of luxury and industry favourites depending on your skin type and desired look.

Do you apply lashes?

Yes — either strip lashes or individual lashes are included with all makeup applications, depending on the look you’d like to achieve.

How should I prepare my skin before the wedding day?

Well-prepped skin always helps makeup sit beautifully. I recommend keeping skin hydrated in the lead-up to the wedding and avoiding any new or intensive treatments too close to the day.

Can makeup be tailored for mature skin?

Absolutely. Makeup is always tailored to the individual, with a focus on skin texture, comfort, longevity and creating a polished finish that still feels natural and flattering in person and in photographs.

What happens after I enquire?

Once I receive your enquiry form, I’ll confirm availability and send through the next steps, including pricing, timing guidance, and booking information tailored to your wedding plans.

Do you stay for touch-ups?

I build time into the schedule for final touch-ups before everyone leaves for the ceremony. Extended touch-up services can also be arranged if needed.

Do you only work on Waiheke Island?

While Waiheke is home, I’m occasionally available for selected bookings further afield depending on the date and logistics.

How do deposits work?

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. Once your enquiry form has been completed and your date confirmed, I’ll send through the next steps along with booking information.
